Marten’s Fish & Chips

Marten’s Fish & Chips has been selling fish since 1992. Since 2010, owner Marcel Cuperus’ shop has been based in a beautiful building on Franeker’s Voorstraat. It has an outdoor seating area and space indoors where guests can enjoy fresh fish, chips, fish platters, sandwiches, or a full meal. ‘With coffee, tea, or a soft drink, of course’, Marcel says laughingly. Several times every week, Marten’s Fish & Chips delivers many different kinds of fish to order.

Marcel about how his business has been using Levo products for nearly 30 years: ‘We fry our fish in top-quality Levo pan-frying and deep-frying oil. The fish tastes perfect and the oil ensures a delicious, crispy end result.’ According to Marcel, his fish and chip shop’s customer base keeps growing because of the combination of their fresh fish and Levo’s high-quality oil. ‘Of course, we also use Levo sauce as the base for our own fish sauce’, Marcel adds. ‘We have been enjoying working together with Levo for all these years. They really are a company that takes good care of their customers and we appreciate that a lot!’
