Snackbar Het Plein, Zandvoort

The Het Plein snack bar is the beating heart of the Het Plein Fast Food centre. This snack bar on Zandvoort’s most famous square has been in business for over 20 years. The everyday running of this fast food outlet is the responsibility of entrepreneurs Robert Slag and Mimoun Abdellaui. Robert explains how they are always looking for new opportunities that may be interesting for their customers. ‘Over the past few years, for example, we opened a sandwich corner, SWIRL’s service tills, and we even have a dedicated burger corner now.’

At Het Plein, they have been using Levo products for around 15 years. ‘We currently use Grenada Gold frying oil and Levo mayonnaise. These products are top quality, but Levo is also simply a friendly family-run company that we love to do business with. ‘We switched to Levo back in the day when it came out that liquid frying fat was better than solid fat. We never regretted it. It is a great partnership and we also love catching up with Levo people at the Horecava trade fair.’
