Globally, sunflower oil is one of the most widely used vegetable oils. Sunflower oil contains as much as 60-65% polyunsaturated fats. This makes this oil ideal as a basis for cold dishes such as salads, sauces and dressings. Sunflower oil is widely used in industrial kitchens due to its versatility and the fact that rapeseed oil is GMO-free and contains no allergens.
Although sunflower oil is also generally used for deep-frying, this is not something Levo recommends. Grenada Gold deep-frying oil or PUUR deep-frying oil are more suited to deep-frying. These products have been specifically developed for prolonged heating.
